dotJS 2019 transport plan
As it happens in France, a national transport strike (including the Paris subway) is starting on December 5.
But don't worry, we have a plan! Here is what you need to know to be in time for both days:
- We are running a dedicated bus service from Paris to the venue and back! Everyone was able to choose from 9 pickup points until December 2nd.
- We have dedicated staff to assist you via email ([email protected]) and Twitter: @dotJS_transport
- We have postponed the starting time of the first talks from 10:30am to 10:45am.
- For people not living in Paris, we have listed all transport options below.
Dedicated bus service
Most subway lines will be stopped on December 5 & 6 so we have created a network of buses to get you to the conference and bring you back in the evening, on both days.
Be warned: the buses will depart the locations at the exact times below and won't be able to wait for latecomers. Please plan enough margin to be at the bus stop in time.
In the evening, the buses will depart 15 minutes after the last talk (around 6:45pm) to get you back to the same pickup point.
Porte de la Chapelle
8:30am to 11am
This is a special bus that will run continuously to the venue. If you can make it to Porte de la Chapelle by any means, you will be OK!
1️⃣ Gare Saint-Lazare 8:15am
2️⃣ Gare du Nord 8:30am
3️⃣ Bercy 8am
4️⃣ Châtelet 8am
5️⃣ Denfert Rochereau 8am
6️⃣ Porte de Bagnolet 8:30am
7️⃣️ Porte de Versailles 8am
8️⃣ Porte Maillot 8:30am
Other transport options from Paris
In addition to our bus network, you can use any of those means.
For free-floating bikes or scooters, be mindful of the allowed zones to park them. We recommend stopping at Porte de la Chapelle and catching our bus.
🚲 Bike sharing
If you plan to come to the conference by car, be mindful that the trafic will be very bad on December 5-6. The closest car park is at 23 rue Madeleine Vionnet, 93300 Aubervilliers.
